Evening Gig
Cultures of Resistance presents…
Omar Puente and band
"Cuban violinist Omar Puente is a musician of frequently feverish rhythmic energy with an instinct for the dancefloor" – so says the Guardian, and anyone who has heard him will agree. He will be performing with a group of talented musicians. Their performance promises to be a display of musical virtuosity guaranteed to make you move.
Jerry Dammers
Founder of ska legends The Specials, Jerry will be playing a mixture of ska, reggae and soul to warm up to Omar and the band, and then to keep the party going afterwards.

The Vibe Bar
The Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL (Liverpool St tube)
The gig costs £12 (waged) and £10 (unwaged), but only £8 when you book as part of this one-day Marxism event - book online here.
